An important medical discovery (#SFWApro)

So I went bicycling today, and I was enjoying it until I got to the top of the exceptionally steep slope known as “Hell Hill.” And started to feel nauseated.

The discovery: if you haven’t been on a bike more than a couple of times in the last two months, and you haven’t bicycled in 83 degree heat since last year, and you haven’t bicycled up Hell Hill in probably three months … well, it’s a bad mix. Fortunately I’ve experienced the warning signs of heat stress before, so I downed the last of my water, found some shade and called TYG to pick me up. Now cooling off at home.
